This is a photo of my husband and our grandson as he was showing our grandson where he grew up as a boy in Dartmont, Boone Co. This was a small coal mining community. He was showing him where the one room school house used to stand. There's nothing left of this community except for the church. All the company houses, store and school are all gone and all is left is my husbands fond memories of a place that he grew up at. |
